Our History

All Saints had its first services in 1903, as a mission, with only five Negro members. All Saints began its life in a rental lodge with an altar that was dismantled each week after service. In 1906, the mission was able to purchase the land where All Saints presently resides at the corner of Pinewood and City Park. An abandon chapel was moved onto the land for services. In 1948, the chapel was torn down and and a new church was built with funds from legacy and matching congregational funds. All Saints’ became a parish in 1957. Between the years of 1984 and 1998, All Saints acquired additional adjacent land and built a new sanctuary and parking lot. The old sanctuary was renovated into a parish hall to include 2 restrooms, full size kitchen and conference room.

Through the years, All Saints has become a living memorial to a people of vision and generosity while developing and securing a place of worship and service. Presently, All Saints is without clergy, but with able and faithful lay leadership we continue to answer God’s calling.
